Our little soap shop next to the famous granary building on Wells quay was never particularly hard to find but it was a little out on its own... on the way to the Chandlery and just round the corner from Platten's DIY perhaps but nearly a whole minute's stroll from the town's main shopping area on Staithe Street.

Things have changed with the completion of one of two new buildings on the site of the old Gray's Arcade building that was destroyed by fire in 2005. Quayside Court has three new shops on its ground floor... a wine merchant Cellar-by-the-Quay, a gallery Quayside Gallery and a nautically-themed clothes shop Ship To Shore. They're a bit bigger and fancier than the soap shop but we think they've chosen a good location.

Much the same has happened at our 'factory', the tucked-away industrial unit where we hand make and hand-wrap all of our soap and other goodies, as well... because the old caravan works behind is now home to a brand new CoOp supermarket!

So if you're in Wells, turn right when you get to the bottom of Staithe Stret and discover the town's new shopping quarter!
