Now that life is returning to some sort of "normality" The Soap Shop here in Wells is now open. Sadly, we are going to ask you to observe some 'rules'...
1) Because the shop is tiny, we can only allow one person in at once (two if they are clearly a couple). Others will be asked to wait outside until the previous customer has exited the shop.
2) It sounds daft in a shop full of soap, but there will be hand sanitiser available by the door and we ask that you use it, please.
3) Although our products are sold on their wonderful scents, we cannot allow you to pick up and sniff the bars or the bottles. Sorry, but you can understand why not... I'm afraid that for now, the rule is "if you touch it, you must buy it".
4) For the moment, we are asking that children do not come into the shop - it's too small and children can't always restrain themselves from touching.
I know it's all a pain, but our first priority is to keep you and Sue, my shop person, safe. We have gloves and masks available if you need them, and we have installed a large screen to avoid the risk from coughing and spluttering!
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to the shop...

An exfoliating soap designed to gently remove debris from the skin's surface. Honey is added for its moisturising and anti-bacterial effect and its skin-soothing benefits. Scented with essential oils of lemongrass, litsea cubeba and a touch of cedarwood to 'anchor' the lemon scent.

Effective, soothing lip balms which protect against chapping, thanks to the combination of wonderful oils and butters used in the recipes, including cocoa butter, beeswax, shea butter and apricot kernel oil. Scented with peppermint essential oil.
